The Story

In July of 2010, I was fortunate enough to go on a mission to Swaziland, a small country located in southern Africa. The trip was taken through a non-profit organization called Heart For Africa. The least I can say about my trip experience is that it was extremely rewarding and in just 10 short days my outlook on life was completely transformed. The Swazi people impacted my life more than I could have ever helped or impacted them and their positive attitudes were truly incredible despite what they had. On the flight back to the states, I decided that I had to go on the next trip in 2011. Bandiez Couture originated to help with the funds for this trip and with overwhelming support from my Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters and many other greek chapters on Mizzou's campus, my trip was funded with ease. Bandiez Couture turned into a business only after I saw how popular it was becoming on campus. I'm hoping to continue to expand BC in the future and find new ways to help people and organizations through these products. Bandiez Couture came alive because of a mission trip, so I want to continue harnessing my business' potential to help others.
